❄️ Camp Frequently Asked Questions ❄️

⛄ ✦ 🎄

Welcome to the NTUE Chinese Language Education Center Mandarin Winter Camp!

Here you can find answers to frequently asked questions about registration, payment, meals, activities, attendance, and other important camp arrangements.

Registration & Camp

The camp is open to children and teenagers aged 6 to 15 .

On the first day of camp, participants will take a Chinese proficiency placement test. Regardless of previous Chinese-learning experience, participants will be assigned to classes according to their Chinese proficiency level or age.

Each class will have approximately 8–12 participants. The actual class size may be adjusted according to the final number of registrations.

The Center reserves the right to adjust class groupings and course arrangements according to actual enrollment.

Please visit the Chinese Language Education Center website and select the camp you wish to attend. Complete and submit the online registration form.

After submitting the form, the system will send an automatic notification email. Please note that this email is a system-generated message and cannot be replied to directly.

If you do not receive the notification email within 10 days, please contact the Center for assistance.

After the registration deadline, the Center will review all applications. Applicants who are approved will receive an admission confirmation and payment instructions.

To secure your place, payment must be completed within 7 working days after receiving the admission confirmation. Places will not be reserved for late payment.

After registration and payment have been completed, a payment confirmation email will be sent. Approximately one month before the camp begins, participants will also receive pre-departure information.

Important camp information will be sent by email. Parents are encouraged to provide an email address that they check regularly.

Each camp session is designed as a complete program, with courses and activities arranged in a systematic sequence.

All participants are required to attend the opening ceremony and Chinese placement test at the beginning of the camp.

If personal circumstances prevent a participant from attending the entire session, the participant may leave early. However, mid-session enrollment is not accepted .

Each camp session has a fixed enrollment capacity. Once a session is full, a waiting list may be available according to the Center's regulations.

If a place becomes available, applicants on the waiting list will be contacted by phone in the order of their waiting-list registration.

The actual waiting time depends on whether and when places become available, so it cannot be determined in advance.

If your preferred camp is full, we recommend considering another camp session with available places.
